I spent last Saturday morning with Senate District 36 Republicans at their BPOU convention. They asked me to chair the meeting for the convention, which I was more than happy to do. This area is just north of Northfield, includes a small portion of the City of Northfield as well as the cities of Farmington, Randolph, Hampton and Miesville. The meeting was held at the Eureka Townhall in Eureka Center. Rep. Pat Garofalo (R-36B) was there and chatted with me?.

House Minority Leader Marty Seifert (R-21A) stopped by and spoke to the group about things that are happening at the capitol. We also heard from representatives of 2nd District Congressman John Kline. It was nice to visit with these neighbors to the north.
